Trying to sort out my merchandising for my Off The Wall tour and have decided to go the whole hog and get some posters printed (every time I do a tour I mean to - but never get round to it).
The big question now is what poster to print?
Below are some front runners but it would be great to get a second opinion.
Zodiac- El Cap

Troll Wall in winter

El Cap at Dawn

Patagonia

Fitzroy

Zodiac el cap
Alexandre Buisse | 09/16/10
Here’s my order of preference (favourite to least liked):
Zodiac - El Cap
El Cap at dawn
Patagonia
Troll Wall
Fitzroy
I might have different opinions if I saw them in print, of course. I hope that helps anyway.

HI Andy,
I think El Cap at Dawn is the best for your poster.
Powerfull and good contrast btween climber and a massive wall.

Troll Wall is my favourite, love the forbidding overtone and menacing aspect (though I openly confess a bias for wintry pics). Listed preferences are:
Troll Wall
Patagonia
El Cap
Fitzroy
Zodiac

It’s tough - they’re all great shots - but my order would be
Zodiac
Troll Wall/Patagonia - just can’t decide between Troll Wall’s forbidding wintry grimness and Patagonia’s sharp colours and weird, organic-looking rock
El Cap at Dawn
Fitzroy

1. Zodiac for me too, it’s a great shot from an interesting angle.
2. El Cap, really gives you a feeling of scale.

Top pick would be El Cap at dawn. Don’t like the lens flare in Zodiac. The Patagonia shot would be OK, but either cropped to remove the large blank areas top right and bottom right, or fill those areas with stuff. Words, logos, whatever.
Tim Plumb | 09/16/10
El Cap at dawn is my fav’. It shows the scale of the route and makes you look pretty vulnerable. Having been to a couple of your talks in Cardigan, we like the stories of you being vulnerable.
Edward Jones | 09/16/10
My ordering would be:
El Cap at Dawn
Fitzroy
Patagonia
Agree with previous comment about the flare on Zodiac; excuse for a repeat?

I’d go with El Cap at Dawn. I like the immensity and lighting. Zodiac would be my second choice, I like the subject matter and the sharp line of the rock but the sun exposure on the left is a little distracting from a photographic point of view.

Fitzroy - I like the combination of the pitch through the deep snow and the massive rockface yet to go.
Troll Wall - the complex architecture of the face.
Zodiac
El Cap at Dawn
Patagonia

El Cap at Dawn for me.
Si Turner | 09/16/10
Andy, Zodiac El Cap for me. Looking forward to your show in Derby…
Howard | 09/16/10
El Cap at dawn followed by Zodiac for me
Rob Thornton FARSIGHT. | 09/16/10
Patas!!!! You can actually be seen in it!!?
Luke Randall | 09/16/10
I’d go with either Zodiac or El Cap at dawn because of the fantastic colours. Zodiac would be my preference based on the image alone, however I would experiment with imposing text on both as, depending on what information you want display, Zodiac could become cluttered and obscured.
Coen van den Berg | 09/17/10
I would go with zodiac and the troll wall. the angle of the first is really nice. the troll wall picture has the ‘gnarly’ factor.
Ian Barton | 09/17/10
that this picture would lend itself to having stuff written over it without distracting from either the picture or the writing!
Ian.
Rob Harper | 09/17/10
El Cap at Dawn for me, amazing colours. 2nd place Patagonia (with that funny bit in the top left cropped out).
Ben | 09/17/10
Zodiac then Troll for me. You can’t really go far wrong though - they’re all good!
