From the moment I could hold a crayon or make marks with paint smeared fingers, sat in my high chair, I've been drawing pictures. It was only when I started illustrating what I wrote – first in magazines and later in books – that I fully appreciated how productive the marriage of words and pictures could be. Most of my work is done in Adobe Illustrator using only the trackpad on my Mac (meaning I draw with my fingers), although I also create images using Adobe Photoshop and Coral Painter.
